Istanbul – Kayseri or Nevsehir – Cappadocia (by flight)
Arrival to Istanbul and take your connection flight to Kayseri ASR or Nevsehir NAV. Arrival to Cappadocia and transfer to your hotel (appr. 1 hrs drive). Check-in. Free time. Overnight in Cappadocia (Dinner) |
Day 2

Cappadocia
Departure from the hotel for Goreme-North Cappadocia Tour. Visit to Uc Guzeller and Devrent Valley, has various types of Fairy chimneys. We will walk through the amazing valley. Drive to Avanos which is famous with pottery. Then proceed to Goreme Open Air Museum, where this religious education was started. Last stop for photo taken Uchisar Castle and Esentepe. End of the tour, return to your hotel. Overnight in Cappadocia (Breakfast-Lunch-Dinner) |
Day 3

Cappadocia – Konya – Pamukkale (by surface)
In the early morning, check out from the hotel and travel to Konya on surface (appr. 4hrs drive). En route visit 13th century Sultanhani Caravanserai built on the famous silk route. In Konya, we will visit the Mausoleum of Mevlana, the worldwide famous mystic. Local lunch at any Turkish Restaurant. After lunch, continue to Pamukkale (appr. 5hrs drive), the cotton fortress. Visit the hot mineral waters burst from the earth and cascade over cliffs forming pools and stalactites. Reach to the hotel at the evening. OVERNIGHT IN PAMUKKALE (Breakfast-Lunch-Dinner) |
Day 4

Pamukkale – Kusadasi (by surface)
Visit to Pamukkale which is a natural site that contains hot springs and travertines, terraces or carbonate minerals left by the flowing water. Then will visit Hierapolis Ancient City where is the biggest cemetery of Anatolia. Local lunch at Turkish Restaurant. Continue drive to your Kusadasi hotel (appr. 2.5 hrs drive), check-in, free time. Overnight in Kusadasi (Breakfast-Lunch-Dinner)

Day 5

Kusadasi – Ephesus – Izmir – Istanbul (by flight)
We visit Ephesus ruins, including The Polio Fountain, The Temple of Hadrian that dedicated to the Emperor Hadrian in 138 AD. Then we visit Great Theatre,the largets ancient theatre with 25,000 seat capacity. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant. After lunch, we visit Library of Celsius, one of the most beautiful structure of Ephesus, buit in 117 AD. Our last stop is the House of Virgin Mary, where Mary may have spent her last days. After the tour, drive to Izmir ADB Airport. Flight to Istanbul (your flight has to be issue after 07:00pm). Arrival to Istanbul and transfer to your hotel, check-in. Day 6

Istanbul
Depart for Full-Day Old City Tour. Tour of "Sultan Ahmet Center", the heart of the "Old City" from where the Byzantine and Ottoman Empires were ruled. Hagia Sophia, the Church of Divine Wisdom, one of the greatest marvels of architecture, constructed as a basilica in the 6th century by Emperor Justinian. Blue Mosque (the mosque visited from outside on Friday mornings because of noon prayer) facing Hagia Sophia, famous with its blue Iznik tiles and unique with 6 minarets, built in the name of Sultan Ahmet. Hippodrome, center of sportive events (chariot races, athletics) and political activities of the old city. Serpentine Column, Obelisk of Theodosius and German Fountain of Wilhelm II are the monuments decorating the Hippodrome. Then visit Topkapi Palace, one of the biggest museum of Turkey and the Balkan Peninsula. Then visit Grand Covered Bazaar, most attractive shopping center and the biggest "souk" in the world with nearly 4000 shops selling antiques, jewellery, gold, carpets, leatherware and souvenir. Day 7

Istanbul – FLY HOME (by flight)
Check-out from hotel. Drive to Istanbul IST or Sabiha Gokcen SAW Airport. Return flight to your home. |
