Your private 6-8 hour tour begins with a fascinating introduction to each of the three Giza pyramids: Cheops, Khafre and Menakaure. You will have free time to enter one of the pyramids (additional cost), though your guide is not permitted to enter with you. A short drive to the city side of the plateau finds you standing at the feet of the Sphinx, the enigmatic symbol of Egypt. Also in Giza you may visit the Solar Boat Museum (optional), home to the remarkably well preserved funerary boat of Khufu. We will pick you up from your hotel or Nile cruise in Aswan and will take you to a visit to Abu Simbel. The two Temples of Abu Simbel with their unique style are considered to be the masterpieces of ancient Egypt. The Temple of Ramses II was dedicated to the four universal gods Ptah, Re-Her-Akhtey, Amun-Re and to Ramses II himself. The great Abu Simbel temple is also called the Sun Temple of Ramssess II. The Temple of Queen Nefertari is also called Temple of Hathor, who was the wife of the Sun God. So in a symbolic way the two temples, the one of Ramses II and the one of Nefertari, bring Ramesses II, Nefertari, Hathor and the Sun God together as one. Afterwards you will head back to Aswan and return to your hotel.

It stands on the corniche. Inaugurated in 1975, the museum is housed in a small, purpose-built building. The range of artifacts on display is far more restricted than the country's main collections in the Museum of Antiquities in Cairo; this was, however, deliberate, since the museum prides itself on the quality of the pieces it has, the uncluttered way in which they are displayed, and the clear multilingual labeling used. Then Transfer to Mummification museum It is located in the Egyptian city of Luxor. It stands on the corniche, in front of the Mina Palace Hotel, to the north of Luxor Temple, overlooking the River Nile. The museum is intended to provide visitors with an understanding of the ancient art of mummification. The Ancient Egyptians applied embalming techniques to many species, not only to dead humans. Mummies of cats, fish and crocodiles are on display in this unique museum, where one can also get an idea of the tools used. Later Transfer Back to your Hotel in Luxor.
